I’m guessing that you’re here because you have a need whether for support, connection, or simply hope. I invite you to browse our site, and I encourage you not to leave without making a small contribution to MHANV to develop the network of support for all of us.
I grew up in the Watts subdivision of South Central Los Angeles, where crisis was a part of daily life and mental health support was rarely seen or offered. As a small girl, I often wondered if anyone truly cared. Those early experiences shaped my life’s mission.
Today, through Mental Health America of Nevada, I am developing a nationwide peer support network designed to expand access to meaningful, community-based support.
We are all in this together, and someone has to do something. I believe in meeting people where they are without judgment and creating pathways to real, human-centered support.
Mental health is not a luxury; it is essential. Strong communities are built when individuals feel seen, supported, and understood. My philosophy is rooted in compassion, shared experience, and the belief that connection can transform outcomes.
I have chosen to step up and step out in a time when action is needed more than ever. My commitment is to build compassionate programs, scalable networks, and effective teams that deliver support when it is needed most.
Through this work, I am dedicated to being part of the solution not just in words, but in measurable impact. I hope you find the support you need here, and I invite you to be part of this mission with us.
