Our Mentoring Services

From academic support and career exploration to goal setting, personal development, and ongoing mentorship, our comprehensive student mentoring services help young people discover their strengths, improve school engagement and attendance, build confidence, and develop a clear pathway toward graduation, higher education, career opportunities, and future success.

Career Exploration & Discovery

Students explore their strengths, talents, interests, and potential career pathways through guided discovery and career-focused activities. Mentors help students connect who they are today with opportunities for their future, including college, skilled trades, entrepreneurship, technology, and other career options. Each student works toward developing a clearer understanding of what they are good at, what interests them, and where those strengths can take them.

Improving Attendance & School Engagement

Consistent attendance is essential to academic success. Our mentoring approach helps students identify and address the personal, motivational, and practical barriers that contribute to absenteeism. Through regular mentor engagement, attendance tracking, encouragement, and recognition of progress, students are supported in developing stronger attendance habits, school engagement, and personal responsibility for showing up and participating in their education.

Goal Setting, Motivation & Personal Accountability

Students learn how to turn aspirations into specific, achievable goals and actionable steps. Mentors work individually with students to establish academic, personal, and career goals while providing consistent encouragement and accountability. Students learn to monitor their own progress, recognize accomplishments, overcome setbacks, and understand that their daily decisions directly influence their future success.

Leadership Development & Positive Peer Influence

Students are encouraged to recognize their ability to become leaders and positive influences among their peers. Through mentoring, leadership activities, communication development, teamwork, and peer engagement, students strengthen their confidence and learn how to make responsible decisions, resolve challenges, and positively influence school culture. The goal is to develop young people who are prepared to lead by example, support their peers, and contribute positively to their school and community.
