Hello and welcome. 

I’m guessing that you’re here because you have a need — whether for support, connection, or simply hope. I invite you to browse our site, and I encourage you not to leave without making a small contribution to help us help you.

I grew up in the Watts subdivision of South Central Los Angeles, where crisis was a part of daily life and mental health support was rarely seen or offered. As a small girl, I often wondered if anyone truly cared. Those early experiences shaped my life’s mission. 

Today, through Mental Health America of Nevada, I am executive director of a problem gambling counselor training center, I am recruiting and training peer support specialists and crisis management teams across the state of Nevada. We are all in this together, and someone has to do something — I have chosen to step up and to step out. 

Together, we build compassionate programs for our community with our community and we cultivate teams that meet people where they are to offer real help when it’s needed most. These times require action like never before, and I am committed to being part of the solution. I hope you find the support you need here.
